Decided to play this one after we talked through the KBO slate on Spaces earlier.

This is SSG's game in hand, the Landers have three games remaining while KT has two so even though SSG enters play a half game back if they win both SSG and KT will be dead even entering the final weekend.

SSG has the benefit of having these games spaced out, the Landers play Thursday, Saturday, Monday and it's essentially “win or go home” so I think we see this managed like a Game 7 for the Landers using all available pitchers (including other SP's if needed).  

SSG has one of their better starters on the mound here in Roenis Elias, at worst he's an equal to Eric Jokisch so NC's only perceived edge (starting pitching and playing at home) is somewhat negated here.  NC will give an effort for their home fans but this season has been incredibly disappointing for the Dinos who likely thought they would make the playoffs so NC is for sure one of the teams “playing out the string” right now.

SSG bounced back from a disappointing loss to LG with a massive performance yesterday to win 8-2.  SSG was able to save bullpen arms in the process which means the Landers basically have every option available here.

Home run spot for SSG in a game they absolutely have to win.  NC has been one of the more “checked out” teams the past couple weeks and I don't think they deny the Landers here.
