Iowa's performance in week 1 truly showcased the potential of their team. Their offense was incredibly balanced, with 250 passing yards and 151 rushing yards, demonstrating an ability to move the ball with ease. Their performance was a testament to their skill on both sides of the field. Coupled with one of the top defenses in the nation, playing at home, Iowa definitely has the edge on both sides of the ball. 

In contrast, Iowa State struggled in their week 1 game against North Dakota, securing a win of only 21-3 and giving up a total of 295 yards of offense to a much lesser opponent. This performance raises concerns about their ability to compete at the same level as Iowa. With such a significant difference in performance in week 1, it's clear that Iowa has a strong advantage going into this upcoming game.
