Analysis

Total Over 51.5 (-110)…(4%)

Baker Mayfield put on a show in his first start since signing a contract extension in the offseason, completing 24 of 30 passes for 289 yards and an impressive four touchdowns. His primary target, Mike Evans, played a pivotal role by securing two of those touchdowns. Furthermore, rookie running back Bucky Irving made a notable impact in his debut game, leading the team with 62 rushing yards on just nine carries. Meanwhile, the Lions commenced their season with an electrifying 26-20 overtime triumph over the Rams.

A significant storyline for the team unfolded as Jameson Williams delivered a breakout performance. As a former first-round draft pick, his career had a sluggish start, but in this game, he amassed five receptions for an impressive 121 yards and a touchdown, truly highlighting his potential.

The Buccaneers had an impressive offensive display in Week 1, even considering the weaker opposition of the Commanders' secondary. With a dynamic offensive performance, it's clear that the Buccaneers have the potential to dominate. On the other hand, the Lions were part of an exciting game with multiple players contributing on offense. The Buccs suffered injuries to three of their cornerbacks in Week 1, and the Lions' defense allowed 317 yards. This suggests that both teams are likely to engage in a high-scoring contest. Therefore, it's more than worth it to bet on the OVER for this game, as it is expected to be a fast-paced, high-scoring matchup.

It's worth noting as well that we want teams that will run the score up and I believe both of these teams fit the card. The Lions let the Rams crawl back into the game on Sunday Night, so because of that I think if they have a lead they'll want to continue to add to it. For the Buccs, they're a heavy passing team and a team that won't ever be up on teams by a margin enough to stop pushing the temp. So both teams will look to score touchdowns untilt he final second of the game.
