They clinched by winning a wild opening game in yesterday's double-header but then had to stick around and play another. I believe it'll catch up to them this afternoon. Peralta's been solid all season and he's been particularly stingy in the second half. He's got a 2.48 ERA his past seven starts. He's also a perfect 3-0 with a 2.60 ERA in three career starts vs the Mets. In fact, he's got a 0.75 ERA against the Brewers in his last two starts against them. One combined run allowed with 15 K's on only three hits. Severino wasn't very good in his last start (4 runs, 4 innings) and he's 1-4 with a poor 5.15 ERA (1.51 WHIP) for his career in the postseason. Also, the Brewers rocked him when they saw him in the spring. In five innings, they had 11 hits and scored six runs (3 earned) against him. The Brewers were 47-34 at home. I expect them to win Game 1.
