Analysis

2% Teaser (2-team, 6-point) - Baltimore (+3 to +9) & Green Bay (+2 to +8) - Goal here is to tease the two primetime underdogs through the key numbers of 3 and 7. No matter the book you’re betting at, that should be an option. So, in addition to liking the 1H Under in the Ravens-Chiefs game, I also like the idea of getting more than one possession with Baltimore, who has gone an incredible 13-1 ATS as an underdog with Lamar Jackson as the starting QB (including 10 outright wins!) Now Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes has similarly been money as a favorite of 3 points or less (or as a dog), going 23-8-1 ATS. But that’s where the benefit of teasing comes into play. As I alluded to in the writeup for the 1H Under, I expect this to be a close, hard-fought and (obviously) low-scoring game. HC John Harbaugh is already 12-4 ATS in season openers and his Ravens did not lose a game by more than 7 points all of last season!

I will also tease Friday night’s underdog (Green Bay) through the key numbers of 3 of 7 for the second-leg of the teaser with Baltimore. While I believe the Eagles will win the NFC East this season, on a neutral field, I cannot make them a favorite over the Packers, who I think can win the NFC North. There’s been a LOT of love for Philly in the market all offseason, and I think it’s gotten a bit out of control, when you consider Green Bay was the better team at the end of last season. QB Jordan Love made tremendous strides over the second half and the Packers defense is now going to be better after finally ousting the hideous Joe Barry from the coordinator position. Look for them to be a lot more aggressive on that side of the ball. Packers HC Matt LaFleur has been excellent as an underdog in his career (going 22-10 ATS) and he’s also 13-2 ATS the first three weeks of the regular season (home or road).  Meanwhile, Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts is a money-burning 6-14-1 ATS as a favorite away from home. Remember this game is being played in Brazil. I just can’t see GB losing by more than one score. 2% Teaser (2-team, 6-point) - Baltimore (+8 or better) and Green Bay (+8 or better)
