UEFA - Austria at Slovenia 

Game Notes: Match Day 1 here and these two will ultimately battle with Norway for a promotion spot into League A with some of the top European nations making this an important one out of the gate. Slovenia were their typical selves in the Euro's with a defend first mentality while sacrificing goals and while they did progress into the first round of the knockout stages they were eventually eliminated by Portugal in penalty kicks and scored only 2 goals in 4 games. Austria had a very group stage beating Netherlands and Poland while scoring 3 in each and their lone loss was 1-0 to France on an own goal. They were knocked out by Turkey in the KO Stages but I'll look for them to build off that summer tournament and take the next step toward League A of this competition with a win here.
