MLS - Philadelphia at Inter Miami
Game Thoughts: A good one on Saturday as the MLS returns from the International break. There are a couple factors at play here before we get to the play. Currently the line is at -1.0 for Miami and that number will remain there if Lionel Messi doesn't feature in the starting line up or off the bench. If on Friday's managers press conference Tata Martinez states he's available then this number steams to -1.25. So we'll grab that first number as it's available. Inter Miami have booked their playoff spot but aren't resting on laurels here as they are still trying to win not only the Eastern Conference but the Supporters Shield which would give them home field right through to the MLS Cup should they make it there. They'll host the Union who have been playing much better of late but a side that can't afford draws at this point and are in need of all 3. Miami won the reverse fixture in Philadelphia 2-1 in a game that Messi did not play and that Inter Miami came back not only from a 1-0 deficit but won while scoring the game winner down 2 men due to red cards. Additionally, Miami have the East's best home record at 9-3-2 with a 35-18 goal differential. Despite the improvement in Philadelphia's form we'll go with the better overall team here on Saturday laying a goal.
The play is Inter Miami -1.0 -115
