NOT SO QUICK ANALYSIS

We had Edmonton OVER last week with a Max Play and it was looking good until they no showed in the 2 ND half and didn't score a point. That cost us that play but we will come right back with the OVER in a Edmonton game in this battle of Alberta on Labour Day. Ford is cleared to play but he will not start but that is good news for the Elks. The Stampeders are coming back from a bye week and we see points for Calgary. As I said last week I am still not really sold on the Edmonton D. Calgary on the other hand has a way of scoring a bunch of points at home. In fact, they have averaged 27 points a game at home. We all know Edmonton can score in bunches but were held to only 17 points last week. We do not see the Stampeders being able to hold this Elks team down. We believe this especially after their dismal second half performance last week. Look for a big bounce back game from the Elks offense this week. The fact that Calgary has gone OVER in 5 of their last 7 games and the fact that the last 7 out of 9 games between these clubs have gone over, just solidifies our selection.
