We are going to play the over in this one as we have a couple of guys starting today that can be any type. Both of these teams need wins for various reasons so we believe the bats will be out today. Even though we are in a pitchers ballpark at Citi Field. The Mets have been on fire at the plate as they have put up 20 runs in their last 2 games. Tonight they get their whacks at Taijuan Walker. Now Walker has not had the season he was looking for as his 6.29 ERA would suggest. He has faced the Mets 3 times this season, including his last turn with mixed results. With Philadelphia only putting up one run yesterday, they will take their frustrations out on Taijuan. The Mets send Luis Severino to the hill and Luis faced these Phillies in his last start. He allowed 3 runs in 6 innings in what was a 6-4 Mets win. We will look for history to repeat itself tonight at Citi Field. The fact that these teams have gone OVER this number in 8 of their last 10 games just solidifies our selection.
