Our selection is on the Detroit Lions for the first half minus 2 1 /2

We are big fans of this Lions club and even though they lost their last game at home we believe this is a great spot for the Lions to start fast on MNF. Detroit doesn’t get too many games on Monday Night Football throughout the years but that changes this year and deeper into the future for this club. It is going to be a crazy crowd in Detroit and we fully believe that the Lions will jump all over this Seahawks club right from the start. We are well aware of Seattle being 3-0 but we still are not really impressed with this club even if the all the statistics tell a great story. They did play NE, Denver and Miami. Those teams are a combined 3-6 and have had some ugly losses. Now Seattle travels East to play arguable one of the best teams in the NFC. We believe even if they are in this one it will be in the second half as they will take a while to get going on the road. The last time on the road the Seahawks needed OT to beat NE. That result alone has us really high on a Detroit onslaught right from the start. How much do we like this Detroit first half play??? We will make our 2 ND 5% release of the NFL season. We talk about regression a lot in all sports but not as much in the NFL. However, if there is ever a time for that word it will be the Seattle 2 ND statistically ranked D. We talked about the teams they played and they have not seen an offense like Detroit’s 4 TH ranked one all season. We have Detroit winning the first half by 10 -14 points but will not play the full game as the Lions have a tendency to let teams in the back door.
