Our selection is on the Calgary/ BC over 53

Yes, we are well aware that this is a large number to bet OVER but there is a reason this sits at 53 and has not really made a move in the market. Calgary has a really bad D and with BC having had a rough run going 2-7 in the last 9 games, we fully believe that this is going to be a HUGE break out game for the Lions no matter who is at QB. BC basically needs 2 wins in the next 3 games to make the playoffs. (they could win tonight with help) That was just a really bad loss against the Kitty Cats last week and they will want to score and score again so there will be no chance for a Calgary comeback. However here is the thing Calgary needs to win this game to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. Calgary has had a bye week and QB Maier has played his best against the Lions this season. The teams have split the first two games and Maier has thrown for 646 yards and 5 touchdowns in those games. Ironically both of those games went UNDER this number but anyone who watched those games knows that the offenses went up and down the field and just couldn’t score when needed. Similar to what BC did last week against Hamilton. The fast track of BC Place has been historically great for OVERs. There are a couple of reasons we do not make this a larger play. One, is that we do worry that Calgary does not pull their weight in this one and doesn’t score enough to help our Over. Two, statistically this says UNDER. Then again we are not ones for always looking at stats and what we have done is circled to bet this OVER after the first two games of this season. The eye test for us is always the way to go. The bye week helps us and the brutal loss for BC does the same. The fact that Calgary has gone over the total in 6 of their last 7 games just solidifies our selection. After all is said and done we will make this a Best Bet.
