Our selection is on Syracuse/ UNLV OVER 56 1 /2

We are a little surprised that this number has come down this morning and thus we will be forever the contrarian and take the OVER. This line was hanging around 58 and there were some 58 1 /2 numbers in the market. Now at 56 1 /2 we make it a 4% Best Bet. Syracuse comes to Vegas off not their best game against Holy Cross. In that game they just went through the motions. Today you will see why they have the 3 RD best passing offense in the country against what is a very suspect UNLV pass defense ranked 88 TH. What UNLV does have is a new duel threat QB in Hajj-Malik Williams. We believe he will be problematic for the Orange tonight. The Rebels didn’t miss a beat after all the QB/ nil problems last week and then UNLV just hammered a Fresno St. D last week for 59 points. We do see this club putting up a bunch a points today as well. Syracuse has put up over 480 yards in 3 of their 4 games with two of those over 500 yards. Syracuse did this against two defenses in Georgia Tech and Ohio that are much better than UNLV. The Rebels play at Allegiant Stadium and that fast track really helps us in this game as well with obviously no weather issues. We had this at 59 and would have passed at 58 1 /2 or 58. However with this number dropping like a rock we hit our number and make it a play.
