This play is mainly based off of the rushing attack of the Midshipmen this season. Navy is top 5 in rush attempts per rushing TDs, scoring a rushing TD once in every 11 rush attempts. As for Air Force, they are bottom 25 allowing a TD nearly once per 16 rush attempts allowed. 

Air Force has allowed 9 TDs in 3 games vs. FBS opponents, but 7 of the 9 have come in the L2 games. Plus, they haven’t seen an offense quite like Navy. Navy is top 15 in TDs scored TY and top 10 in scoring offense. They have put up 18 TDs and while these TDs do not need to be rushing TDs, that has been the primary way they have found the end zone, with 12 of their 18 TDs on the ground.
