The Jays scored six runs in the first inning in Game 1 of this home series versus Philly, but the bullpen blew it late. If the bats can stay hot they should be in better shape here in Game 2. Vlad Jr is still the hottest bat in the big leagues, now second in the majors batting .328 despite a poor 1st half. Bowden Francis is coming off a dominant performance, tossing seven scoreless at Fenway. He's 8-3 with a 3.66 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP in 23 appearances. He's 4-1 with a 1.05 ERA in his last five starts. The Phillies hand the ball to Chris Sanchez, who has had a fine season but has been better at home than on the road. He's 2-6 with a 5.43 ERA in a dozen road starts.
