These teams played in the NFC Wild Card game last season, and Detroit won by a score of 24-23. While they failed to reach the total of 53, that final score doesn't tell the whole story. The Lions had a 21-17 lead at halftime, and then we only saw 3 FGs the rest of the way. I expect both teams to score here in the dome in Week 1. The Rams lost Aaron Donald and that leaves them at a big disadvantage against a Lions team with one of the best offensive lines in the league. I expect the Lions to score early and often, forcing Stafford to pass as the Rams try to keep up. David Montgomery played in 14 games last season, scored a TD in all but three of them. With Detroit as a home favorite in a game with a total in the 50s the Lions RB1 is a good bet to score.
