Boise State is the team to beat in the Mountain West this season, and many are predicting a playoff berth for the Broncos. Head Coach Spencer Danielson took over towards the latter part of the year and went 3-1 SU and ATS as BSU won the Mountain West. Maddux Madsen has been named the starting quarterback, beating outing former 5 star recruit Malachi Nelson from USC. Boise returns 17 starters and has one of the best running backs in the nation in Ashton Jeanty. 
 

Georgia Southern is off a losing season and they were tied for the most turnovers in the nation, something this BSU defense will no doubt take advantage of. The defense was terrible as well, allowing over 6 yards per play and 30.5 points per game. The Broncos are ready to build on last year’s success, and they will blow out the Eagles down in Georgia in Week 1. Take Boise State.
