Not only did Vanderbilt win just 2 games a season ago, but they went 2-10 ATS as well. Head Coach Clark Lea has less than 10 wins in his tenure in Nashville and he’s been there for 3 seasons. Vandy brought in a new OC and is changing their offensive scheme, so expect a lot of sloppy play on that side of the ball. In the trenches the offensive line will be overwhelmed, stopping any sort of drive production as that group was a nightmare last season. Defensively, the Commodores gave up over 36 points per game in 2023. 
 

That leads us to Virginia Tech, who could be a sleeper in the ACC, especially with the loss FSU just took in Dublin. Brent Pry has his team headed in the right direction, trending upwards while finishing 8-5 ATS last year. The most notable thing that stands off the page is the Hokies return 21 starters, so a team that drastically improved on both sides of the ball LY will be that much better. Quarterback Kyron Drones will take care of the scoring, and this defensive front did a great job of getting to opposing QB’s. Huge line mismatch but really at all positions. Two touchdowns isn’t enough as the Hokies head to Nashville and get an easy cover. Take Virginia Tech.
