A lot of people thought Colorado State had a chance to get their backers paid last week because of their perceived “strong offense” and injuries to a few Texas RB’s. Well, 52-0 later the Longhorns proved that they’re a force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, the score of the Michigan game couldn’t be more misleading. Fresno State was very much “live” in the 4th quarter before a pick 6 changed the game. The Bulldogs still got the cover, but the real concern is the state of Michigan. I spoke all week about how we would see a completely different Wolverines squad. The offense only brought back 2 starters and the result was an average of just 4.2 yards per play at home. That was against a Mountain West team, so imagine the shock they’ll be in when a national title contender comes to town. Take Texas.
