It's a brand new look for San Diego State under first year head coach Sean Lewis. Gone are the days of running the ball and playing solid defense, as Lewis brings an up-tempo, pass heavy attack. The Aztecs got some live game experience with the new offense last week while hanging 45 on TAMC, and now they find themselves in the “live dog” role as they get set to host an Oregon State team that will take a huge step back in 2024. Just 5 starters return for the Beavers, and only 1 on offense. Gone are the HC, QB, and most skill position players. Although they brought in some transfers like everyone else, asking them to go on the road and win by a touchdown is a lot. Take San Diego State.
