Barry Odom has done a phenomenal job in his short tenure as the UNLV HC. Not only did the Rebels make the conference championship game a season ago, but they were one of the best ATS teams in the country. Odom is 12-4 against the number since the beginning of last year. UNLV just hung 72 on Utah Tech, but prior to that they came away with a 27-7 win at Houston, proving they can go on the road and get the job done. Matthew Sluka has emerged as the new quarterback threat and he has plenty of receiving weapons at his disposal. Kansas has only played one game against quality competition as well, and they lost last weekend at Illinois. Jalon Daniels threw 3 picks but by all accounts this is still projected to be a strong offense. Both teams have question marks on defense but getting a touchdown with the Rebels is the way to play this one. Take UNLV.
