The Mets are doing whatever it takes to make the playoffs, coming through with a walk off win in extra innings yesterday to put them 1 game ahead of Atlanta for the final wild card spot. New York will keep the momentum going in game 2 with Tylor Megill, who didn’t allow a run on just 1 hit over 6 innings last time out. Washington is obviously just playing spoiler at this point, and Michell Parker was rocked for 5 earned, including 3 home runs the last time he faced the Mets.
