West Virginia bounced back nicely after a tough loss to rival Pitt, beating Kansas two weeks back to even up their record. The Mountaineers will be coming off a bye when they head to Stillwater to take on an Oklahoma State team that has been overrated in the betting market. We cashed easily fading the Cowboys in last week’s 42-20 loss to Kansas State, a game in which quarterback Avery Johnson accounted for 5 TD’s as he was able to both pass and run against an ineffective Oklahoma State defense. Running back Ollie Gordon was held in check once again, finishing with just 76 yards rushing. Gordon was a breakout star a season ago but has been held in check all year long. Instead, opponents are going to make quarterback Alan Bowman beat them, and he had 3 turnovers in the K-State loss. West Virginia is averaging 6.26 yards per play on offense and we can feel comfortable putting the points in our pocket with the live dog that’s had an extra week to prepare. Take West Virginia.
