Things got a little dicey for Milwaukee in game 2 on a day where we saw multiple underdogs have their seasons end. This was a big momentum shift for the Brewers, who have home field advantage and the pitcher we want on the mound. We’ve made a lot of money backing Tobias Myers, who actually finished the regular season facing these Mets, not allowing a run on just 1 hit over 4. With a wOBA under .300, Myers has been able to limit damage from opposing lineups all season. Jose Quintana also finished his season facing Milwaukee, and he’s a guy that creates a lot of contact. He’s a low velocity pitcher with a low strikeout rate, and let’s not forget about the bullpen advantage held by the Brew Crew. New York has been a nice story, but their season ends on Thursday with a powerful Milwaukee lineup and Myers on the mound. Take the Brewers.
