The Detroit Tigers have been on a roll of late, winning four straight games on the bounce, and we like them to extend that streak later this evening against the struggling LA Angels.

The Tigers have finally got their necks up to the .500 mark on the season after blowing out their AL Central rivals the Chicago White Sox in a 4-0 series rout across the last few days.

A huge part of that recent success for Detroit has been their offense which ranks 2nd and 3rd in the league respectively over the L/7 days in both total hits and total runs scored.

The LA Angels meanwhile have struggled massively across August, owning a miserable 3-13 record since August 9th, with the Angels ranking dead last in OPS rating across the L/15 days also.

The Angels Johnny Cueto is on the back end of his career with just 6.1 innings pitched so far this year, with a light 52.1 innings pitched last season for the Miami Marlins also. That goes up against a much fresher Brant Hurter this evening for Detroit who owns a superb 2.00 ERA across his limited starts at home this season.

Take the team in much better form this evening to deliver yet another victory at home against a struggling LA Angels side on Tuesday.
