• Two teams that have started the season in vastly different fashion meet up in Austin this weekend with the UTSA Roadrunners owning a 1-1 record overall, but failing to cover either of those two games. The Texas Longhorns meanwhile have blasted both of their opening two opponents, including a highly impressive 31-12 victory over last season's champions Michigan last week.
• However, the point spread is the great equalizer here and we believe this is far too many points to be giving the Roadrunners in this spot, especially with the line being less than two touchdowns in this same fixture back in 2022. This could well be a bit of a flat spot for Texas also coming off that huge win over Michigan last week.
• UTSA were utterly embarrassed against Texas State last week, getting drubbed 49-10. Roadrunners Head Coach Jeff Traylor is 10-0 ATS however in his last ten contests when coming off a blowout double-digit defeat in his last game.
