Both teams have very good defenses but the Jets defense in my opinion is the better unit. When you consider what this defense did last year with no help from its offense was amazing. The Jets offense didn’t have long drives last year in fact too many 3 n out drives which puts a ton of pressure on the defense as they are always on the field more and battling field position issues. Now that they have Rodgers back at QB the offense will be much better which will make the defense even better than it was as the defense will not be on the field for as many plays per game as they were last year. I always say give me the better defense getting points. I also expect the 49ers offense to be a little sluggish out of the gate as they had holdouts with key players who missed training camp. It will take them a bit for everyone to be on the same page and have their timing down.  JETS  20-17
