He's also facing a Royals team that takes a significant hit on the road in terms of run scoring as the score about a run less on the road than they do at home. Brady Singer starts for KC. His ERA on the road is more than a run higher than at home. Opposing batters are also hitting .285 against him, which is 55-points higher than when Singer is at home. Houston at home is one of the top five offenses in baseball in terms of batting average on wRC+. Singer has a 6.23 ERA in the month of August and an OBA of .358. Houston should get to him early. I don't want to leave a bad Royals bullpen out of the equation here, so I'm willing to lay the juice in this spot.
