The Mets and Red Sox start a series at Citi Field. The starters in this game are two I'm willing to fade a bit, but I also believe in both these offenses. Luis Severino has been both good and bad this season. His numbers at home are good, but he's also faced a run of weak lineups, so he's taken advantage. The Red Sox are one of the highest scoring teams on the road this season. They are 5th in batting average and 2nd in OPS and wRC+. The Mets bullpen is nothing to get excited about either, so Boston should have plenty of opportunities to push runs across. The Mets will face Brayan Bello. Bello somehow is 12-6 with a 4.66 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP. Even though the Mets don't score as much at home as the do on the road, I'm hopeful they can get to Bello early in this game. Even if they don't, they will have a crack at the Red Sox bullpen which is one of the worst in the majors.
