The Commanders face the Bucs in Tampa. I think the Bucs are primed for regression as is Baker Mayfield. Commanders new head coach Dan Quinn has a reputation for turning around defenses quickly and I expect that he will give a shot of life to this Washington defense. Also, the Bucs weren't a terribly good offense last year finishing bottom 10 in total offense and dead last in rushing yards per game. Quinn should be able to exploit that. But I am more backing this Washington offense. I know that rookie QBs in their first game on the road, haven't fared well. But Jayden Daniels looks to be a special player and his dual threat abilites will give the Bucs defense fits. Tampa was bottom five in pass defense last season and the Commanders have a good receiving corp and now Austin Ekeler coming out of the backfield in the passing game. Baker Mayfield is 14-26-1 (35.4%) as a favorite in his career. I'll even sprinkle a little on the money line here for the Commanders.
