Boston College travels to Colubmia to face the Missouri Tigers. The Eagles are ranked for the first time in forever. I don't believe that the Eagles are one of the 25 best teams in the country. Yes, they beat Florida State. But that was more of a referendum on the Seminoles, than the quality of BC. The Eagles thrashing FCS Duquense doesn't move the needle for me either. Missouri is one of the best offenses in the country and has been since last season. They have scored at least 30 points at home in 9 of their last 10 home games dating back to last season. Brady Cook is a consistent and reliable QB and top target Luther Burden is nearly un-guardable. Boston College likely won't have the luxury playing with a lead like it did against FSU and Duquense. Missouri will get off to a fast start and force BC to rely on QB Thomas Castellanos will have to throw his way back into this game. I don't know that's a great formula for BC. Castellanos was only able to throw for 106 yards against FSU. This one may be close early, but the Mizzou offense will be too much for the Eagles defense over four quarters.
