Top-5 Finish Including Starting Strokes and Including Ties

Seven starts at East Lake for Xander.  His worst finish is 7th place and he has three wins (OK, well technically the record books show one win in 2017, but he also was the low 72-hole scorer two more times since the inception of the Starting Strokes but because he was too far behind to begin, he didn't win).

X has finished T2 and T5 in the two playoff events which culminates an incredible season in which he has 15 Top-10 finishes in 21 starts and is the Tour's active cut streak leader at over 50.  He has surpassed Scottie in the Total Strokes Gained data point over the last three months as his consistency is simply remarkable.

X is a 5-tool player and rarely losing strokes in any of the measured areas.  Putting he has gained strokes in 16 straight starts.

Brighton at Arsenal

Kudos to Brighton for their 2-0 start, beating up on a horrible Everton side before winning at home over United last weekend.  Arsenal cruised by Wolves to open and then went on the road to win at a tough venue in Villa Park. 

The Gunners are the superior side without question.  If we look at the season ending numbers last year.  Brighton finished with a +1.2 xG differential, respectable, while Arsenal finished at +48.2, the best in the league though they fell two points short of Man City for the title.  

Still, at home, 15-2-2 with a +32 goal differential and they allowed only 16 goals on 13.5 xGA.  Meanwhile Brighton went 4-6-9 with a -10 goal differential away.

Arsenal swept the series with Brighton last year winning both matches by a combined 5-0 scoreline.
