Slovakia had a truly impressive run in the EUROs, making it all the way to the Round of 16 where they almost eliminated England, but they conceded a late bicycle kick from Bellingham at the 5th minute of stoppage time to send that match to extra time, where Kane scored the winning goal. But they were really good throughout the tournament, scoring early, first half goals in all 4 matches (against Belgium, Ukraine, Romania and England), with a good coach and coming into the Nations League with a similar roster to the one they had at the EUROs (minus Schranz and Kucka). 

Estonia have very little talent in their squad, and generally lose badly to teams that are above them in the UEFA rankings. Their last competitive match was a huge 5-1 loss to Poland in the last qualifier for the EURO. And they were also really unimpressive in the EURO Qualifier Group Stage (W0 D1 L7), scoring just 2 goals and conceding 22 in a group with Belgium, Austria, Sweden and Azerbaijan. 

Estonia lost all 4 home matches in that period without even scoring (and conceding 12 goals in the process), losing by 2-0 / 2-0 / 3-0 / 5-0. Not much has changed since then, they still lack the quality to do anything, especially against well-oiled and battle-hardened teams like Slovakia who were extremely good in the EUROs.
