Let me start by saying, I am looking to bet the Lions Over and the Rams Over all year long and especially when they play inside. 

Last year, the Lions were the 5th highest scoring team in football, averaging just under 28 points per game. I think we see them do better than that this year, with them ending as the #1 offense in football and averaging over 30 points per game. A lot of that has to do with this team just getting better and better, Gibbs becoming an integral part of the offense and they are playing almost all their games inside. With that said, what they do game in and game out is irrelevant to this particular game. In this game, they are the Prime Time Sunday night game at home, healthy and playing a team that has a horrible defensive unit. I think we see the Lions put up 34 points against the Rams which means we only need 17 from the Rams to get us a push and 18 to go over. 

The Rams last year had a top 10 offense, with a half injured Stafford and a new WR core that will only get better and better. I think we see a big offensive output from this team in 2024. They are absolutely loaded with offensive talent, with one of the best WR cores in football, and a great QB who can stretch the field. 

What I also like here is that both D units are middle of the pack at best. Last year, both these D units were in the middle of the pack and worse for Unders, both were in the bottom half of the league in stopping the pass.

So here we have 2 of the top scoring teams in football - 2 of the best passing teams in football - 2 teams with weapons all over the field, playing indoors in prime time with QBs that can throw deep against D Units that are middle of the pack at best. 

I am not going to overthink this play. There is no reason this game doesn’t get into the 60s, but I had this line at 54.5 which is 3.5 points more than the Over. We are going to take the value here and bet the Over in this game and watch an exciting shootout.
