Analysis

3% CFB BEST BET (Sunday)

USC (+4) vs LSU

The betting public seems to think that Brian Kelly and LSU still have Jayden Daniels on the team because this line opened over the Summer with them at (-6) and the ticket % continues to rise. The problem is, Daniels isn't on the team anymore, he'll be playing on Sundays and the line keeps moving towards USC. I agree with that line move. No Caleb Williams for USC anymore either but they have the next Lincoln Riley protégé in Miller Moss who threw for 372 yards and 6 TD's against Louisville in last years Holiday Bowl game. While the defense of USC was historically bad last season, so was LSU. The difference is Riley went out and hired one of the best DC in the country in D'Anton Lynn (UCLA) who elevated that defense for Chip Kelly from 87th in the country to 11th in one year. Talent is not an issue for USC. They are just as talented on offense as anyone and Lincoln Riley can still coach. I think this is a coin flip game and the fact we're getting more than a FG in a Neutral Site Game, all the value lies with the Underdog in this one. I'll take the points with USC and sprinkle a little something on the ML.
