4% WASHINGTON STATE ML vs TEXAS TECH

The wrong team was favored in this one and the market has corrected itself but I still LOVE the Cougars in this one. Washington State opened the season with a 70-30 win as a 26.5-point favorite over Portland State. The Cougars former QB is Cam Ward and he's in Miami now but their new QB John Mateer looks more than capable and is now 26 of 36 passing for 619 yards and 8 touchdowns w/ 1 INT in his career and hasn't been sacked yet. Now he gets to take on a  banged-up Texas Tech defense that just gave up 51 points in a 1-point overtime win against FCS Abilene Christian as a 31.5-point favorite. To make matters worse for Tech, 2 of their leading defensive players likely aren't playing in this game and that's a big problem for a team that has to travel to Washington and play in a crazy atmosphere. On offense, returning QB Behren Morton is good, not great and he'll likely have to go without his top RB who was also hurt in that game. I get the better offense with a decent defense at home riding the momentum of a huge opening win last week. Give me the better offense at home at this price. Washington State on the ML for the WIN!
