3% UNDER 49.5 HOUSTON vs OKLAHOMA

So that was as ugly as it gets for Willie Fritz and his Houston Cougars last week. My word, the offense is terrible. They managed just 157 yards while being shutout by a mediocre at best UNLV defense before gaining 90 yards on 12 plays with backups in for both teams in the final 5 minutes. Oklahoma routed Temple last week 51-3 but don’t be fooled by those 51 points. Oklahoma gained only 378 yards against a Temple defense that was the worst in the nation last year. New quarterback Jackson Arnold really struggled for OU and I don't see that getting any better anytime soon as his best WR Jalil Farooq was injured in the game and is going to miss 6-8 weeks. His other top WR didn't play last week and is questionable in this one. Houston's Defense is average but new defensive coordinator Shiel Wood has always had great defenses and I expect Houston's Defense to bet better this week. Both offenses have major issues and I don't trust either to get enough points to put this thing over 50 for the game.
