FLORIDA STATE -7 vs Memphis

Everyone knows this season hasn't exactly started out like Seminole fans had hoped. And for this game, that's a great thing for those of us backing Florida State in this game. This is a pure value | talent level play for me. The look ahead line for this game was Florida State -17 vs Memphis over the summer. Now, that FSU has underperformed and lost 2 games against Power 4 schools (Georgia Tech | Boston College) we get to back the more talented, athletic and gifted team and only have to lay a TD. I'll take that any day. Mike Norvell is the former HC of Memphis, it's where he left to take this job at Florida State. He's also 23-4 as the HC at Florida State so the idea that he somehow doesn't know how to coach is ridiculous. This is the first road game of the year for Memphis under HC Ryan Silverfield is 0-10 SU and just 2-8 ATS as a road underdog. Memphis has played nobody even close to the athleticism and talent that FSU will bring at home in this game. FSU had a break to work on getting DJ U back on track and Norvell should be trusted to right to ship against a less talented Memphis team. Lay it with FSU as they get a much needed win at home.
