PITTSBURGH +2 vs West Virginia

The famous "Backyard Brawl" between West Virginia and Pittsburgh offers us another great opportunity to grab value on the home dog in this one. Pittsburgh just went on the road and erased a 21 point second half deficit to beat Cincinnati, even though they had the ball for only 23 mins in that game. That showed me a lot about who this Pitt team is this year under Coach Pat Narduzzi. I don't see a ton of difference between Cincinnati and West Virginia in that West Virginia is capable of putting up points in a hurry and this time, Pittsburgh is at home and not on the road. Pitts running game and QB play of redshirt freshman Eli Holstein ( thrown for 638 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions in two games.) means this team is never out of it. I expect the defense to be much better at home and everyone knows that Neal Brown teams should not be laying points on the road to anyone. Especially not a Pitt team that is riding the confidence of a great come from behind win on the road last game. West Virginia is over-valued and I'll take the home dog in this game.
