With that sweep the Cubs go to two games over .500. The Cubs are 15-9 on the road since July 9th with 5 losses as a dog. Chicago is also 6-1 their L7 games and the offense has avg;' a booming 10.4 runs/gm and 12.9 hits/gm.

The Nationals did upset the Yankees in B2B games as a big dog but they three a lefty in each of those 2 upsets and we know how the NYY play vs a L. Washington with 3.3 runs/gm and 8.3 hits/gm their L6 games. Nats are 5-13 as a dog of +120 and higher vs a lefty since mid-May avg only 3.2 runs/gm.

Imanaga has made 10 starts in July & August with a 2.97 ERA allowing 19 earned runs in 55 1/3 innings including only 17 hits in his L4 starts (24 innings).

Irvin better on the road than at home (4.14 ERA & .261 OBA). Irvin with a 5.46 AEARA in his L5 starts including allowing 34 hits in 28 innings
