Indianapolis enters improved in multiple areas but the secondary remains a noticeable weakness. Colts improved pass rush is on the spot here vs. Houston QB C.J. Stroud who has an array of talented pass catchers. WR quartet of (Diggs / Nico Collins / “Tank” Dell / Robert Woods) plus TE Dalton Schultz and ex-Bengals RB Joe Mixon. Offensive line has been upgraded and LY average of 245.5 pypg (#7 in NFL) figures to increase this season…especially in this advantageous spot. Colts also have formidable arsenal including the dual threat running ability of QB Anthony Richardson. Richardson was injured in Week #2 last year in Indy’s first matchup with Houston. He had a pair of rushing touchdowns before exiting in the 4th quarter and was creating problems for the Texans. Indianapolis OL among top 5-6 in the league and is more than capable of balancing this offense with running lanes for RB Jonathan Taylor + pass protection for an upgraded aerial attack (1ST round DC A.D. Indicators point toward final result here that equals and potentially exceeds that number.
