Pair of offenses fully committed to pushing the ball down the field facing a pair of so-so secondaries. Shapes up as a recipe for points yet the game total is in the area where you’d line a with methodical “clock chewing” philosophy. Understand New York operates with a QB & weaponry that’s not as stacked as the majority of NFL teams but they are locked & loaded with an elite play-caller in HC Brian Daboll. Figure his schemes and ability to use every available resource including the mobility of QB Daniel Jones can find openings leading to yardage and points. Minnesota defense which can be labeled as suspect is one that was exploited last season ranking last in pass completion% allowed (70.6%) and 24th in pass yards per game allowed (234.5). Prospects could be even bright for Vikings pass offense which is looking to be even more air oriented this year. They do have an elite receiving corps matching up against the Giants highly vulnerable coverage group. New QB Sam Darnold has running aspect to his game and while not elite he looks to be very comfortable and confident in this “ball distribution” style.
