Since the Olympic break, the Sky have been struggling on both ends of the floor, and their issues are compounded by the absence of Angel Reese. Her rebounding ability provided crucial extra opportunities for the team, and without her, those second-chance points and defensive stops are missing.

The Sky's recent form further underscores their struggles. They are just 3-9 ATS in the first half since the break, and 0-4 ATS specifically as road underdogs, like they are today. In those four games as road dogs, the Sky have been down by an average of over 12 points at halftime, showing their inability to keep games close early.
