Air Force has gone a combined 29-10 over the previous 3 seasons. However, this 2024 version of Air Force football is not nowhere near the quality we witnessed in recent years. They do own a win over Merrimack 21-6 who plays at the FCS level, but they were held to an alarmingly low 237 yards of total offense in the contest. Then last Saturday they lost at home to San Jose State 17-7 and once again struggled mightily offensively while collecting only 197 total yards. Now they go on the road for a first time this season to take on a Big 12 opponent in Baylor who has allowed just 12.5 points and 242.0 yards per game thus far. That includes the Bears holding #12 Utah to just 298 yards during a 23-12 road loss last Saturday. 

This line speaks volumes to me when considering Baylor is coming of 2 consecutive losing seasons and a loss last week. Now the Bears are pegged as a sizable favorite versus a quality football program such as Air Force. Let us stay current and not live in the past.
