Analysis

Oklahoma State is coming off a 22-19 home loss to Utah last Saturday in a game in which their usually potent offense was held to only 285 yards gained. During their only 2 games versus FBS opponents (Utah, Arkansas) this season, the Cowboys defense has allowed 456 and 648 yards. Things could have been much worse if not for the 6 combined turnover they forced in those contests,

Speaking of their 2 games versus FBS teams, the Oklahoma State defense allowed 249 yards rushing to Utah and 232 yards on the ground against Arkansas. That will be problematic against a Kansas State offense that has amassed 215 yards or more rushing in all 4 of their games this season. The Wildcats are coming off their first loss of the season last Saturday after being defeated at BYU 38-9. The final score was very misleading when considering Kansas State outgained the Cougars 367-241. Unfortunately for them, BYU scored a defensive touchdown and another on a fumble return. Kansas State turned it over an additional 2 times which set up the BYU offense with favorable field position resulting in scores. On a positive note, under current head coach Chris Klieman, Kansas State has gone 8-0 SU&ATS in their last 8 following a loss in their previous contest and won by an average of 22.2 points per game. Kansas State will also be out to revenge a 29-21 loss at Oklahoma State last season.

Give me Kansas State minus points.
