Analysis

3% Rotation #125: CFB Saturday 3% LSU Tigers -6 @ South Carolina Gamecocks @ Noon ET - Anything can happen in any game as we all know but this sure looks like a fantastic spot for LSU. There is all this hype right now about South Carolina but, ladies and gentlemen, they just faced a Kentucky team that clearly overlooked them and was already thinking about the showdown with Georgia that was on deck (and now happening tonight). LSU is certainly NOT going to overlook the Gamecocks in this one. For all this hype about South Carolina lets not forget they were outgained in their Week 1 game against Old Dominion. SC also was TRAILING in the 4th quarter of that game and lets not forget they were favored by 3 TDs in that game! Simply put the Gamecocks are over-rated right now and this is a fantastic value spot, after the downward line move (very early lines on this matchup were as high as a 10!), as we can now get LSU at a -6 in this one. South Carolina is being hyped like crazy but they have an unimpressive offense and now are facing the best offense (and best team) they have seen yet this season. They will NOT be able to keep up with the Tigers O here! Yes, LSU lost in Week 1 to Southern Cal but that was a tight game against a ranked team and will only serve to make LSU even better in the long run. Getting a loss out of the way early in the season keeps a team humble and this Tigers team is hungry and fully motivated in a huge game here as it is their SEC opener and with ESPN GameDay here for this one as well. Yes, that's how big it is and I am looking forward to South Carolina getting a major reality check here! Lets not forget this team was 5-7 last season while the Tigers were 10-3. The Gamecocks are way over-hyped early this season and we take advantage here. 3% LSU Tigers -6
