4% Rotation #784: CFL Saturday 4% Calgary Stampeders +6 vs Montreal Alouettes @ 7 ET - The Alouettes are off a bad loss to BC and it was no fluke as they were outgained by about 200 yards! The Stampeders are also off a loss but the yardage was about equal and they were done in by turnovers - 5 interceptions and 2 on downs. Their QB experiment for one week without Maier was a flop, to say the least, and he will be back under center for this one. Look for the Stamps to rally around Jake Maier getting the call again under center and they have a great shot at the upset win here. What I also like about this spot is Calgary was already at home last week too while the Alouettes were in Quebec. So they have to travel west and while the Als have already clinched a playoff spot, Calgary is much hungrier here and more desperate for a positive result and this sets up well for a home upset. If the Stampeders do fall short of an upset, note that Montreal is 6-2 SU the last 8 weeks but have had only 2 wins by more than 4 points in those 8 games! We get great line value here with the home dog as you can see as Montreal continues to be overrated (ATS) and I am confident this Stamps team is going to give a strong effort at home on both sides of the ball. The Als run defense has had issues and Calgary can open up the passing attack by establishing the ground game and I look for the home team to have one of their best games of the season given the situational factors here as noted above. 4% CALGARY +6
