Philadelphia is a perfect 6-0 L6 times when they are off a loss in which they scored 4 or less runs. The Phillies are starting Taijuan Walker here and though his overall numbers are not that impressive note that since coming to Philly last season he has faced the Mets - the team he was with before Philadelphia - and has now allowed a total of only 23 hits in 35 innings! Walker will again be up for facing his former team and he just faced them and allowed 3 hits in 3 innings and has allowed only 5 hits in 8.2 innings in his last two starts against them. Severino just faced the Phillies as well and the Mets right-hander pitched quite well against them but did allow 2 homers and the Mets took the loss in that game. Philadelphia has taken 6 of 9 meetings between these teams this season and they have the better overall team and better overall lineup. Of course the Mets deserver respect with Severino on the mound and being at home but the Phillies as an underdog and in a 6-0 situation certainly are in a good spot for a underdog selection. Their lineup is getting healthier again and the Phillies improve to 7-0 L7 when off a loss in which they were held to 4 or less runs.
