As for the Rockies, Kyle Freeland is expected to start. I know he has been strong in recent starts but he, surprisingly, has been better at hitter-friendly Coors Field than he has been on the road this season. Freeland has gone 3-6 with a 5.98 ERA in his road starts this season.  He has been better in the 2nd half of the season than the 1st half in terms of his road performances. However, prior to his most recent road start, he was still allowing plenty of hits in his road starts and now he faces the hottest lineup in baseball. The Dodgers off the huge 20-run outburst yesterday and Ohtani off incredible game with 10 RBI. The Dodgers continue to pile up huge runs as they are on a 4-1 run and have scored at least 8 runs in all 5 of these games! These are incredible numbers and the Dodgers have been an over machine for the past week and a half! As for the Rockies, they are on a 5-2 run and have scored 5 runs per game during this stretch. Certainly not incredible numbers but their confidence is at least up at the plate with the recent winning. The Dodgers have allowed 17 runs in their last 3 games. Those were all on the road. But at home LA has actually allowed 24 runs last 3 games! The point is that their bullpen has not exactly been stellar the last week and a half. Also, the Rockies bullpen has been an issue all season long. As a result of all this look for runs early and often and throughout this contest. I know this is just above the key number of 9 currently but it also offers value since there is no juice on the over. I'll take it!
