3% Rotation #773: CFL Friday 3% Calgary Stampeders +8.5 @ BC Lions @ 10 ET - Calgary has the worst record in the league but they also are the only team in the league that still has 4 games left. That said, in terms of the playoff picture, they are certainly not dead yet. This is just too many points here to give a desperate Stampeders team that still has some hope plus is coming off a bye week plus lets not forget what has been going on for the Lions. Even at home in BC they have been losing games. Long-term the Lions are now 2-7 SU last 9 games! Yes, just two wins last nine games and their OT loss to Hamilton last week was their 3rd straight loss in their home at BC Place. Their only home win since mid-July was the game played in Victoria BC which was technically a home game but was note their typical home in Vancouver. That said, I am happy to challenge the Lions to not only finally win a game here but to also cover this large spread. The Stamps have played them tough recently plus have the rest edge and I did not like what I saw at all from a weary BC defense in the 4th quarter of their collapse versus Hamilton last week. That said, the generous points are absolutely the way to play this one. The Stampeders have struggled just like BC has but they can step up in this game and, based on statistics, they have deserved better in a number of recent games in their tougher stretch. The point is that this is resulting in line value here as they truly have deserved better than their current tough ATS run. Remember too that they were knocked out of the playoffs here last season in a loss at BC after beating them here late in the regular season. They did beat them in the most recent meeting and can do so again here. If they fall short I certainly look for it to by 8 or less points! 3% CALGARY +8.5
