3% Rotation #399: CFB Saturday 3% OVER 46.5 in Penn State Nittany Lions vs UCLA Bruins @ Noon ET - Ideal weather in State College PA for this one. Long story short here…I have seen this movie before! This game is set up perfect for plenty of scoring. This is similar to the Penn State home game with Bowling Green after the Nittany Lions had beaten West Virginia in Week 1. They were a bit flat defensively and the Falcons took advantage. This is a very similar set up with PSU off the hard-fought 21-7 win over Illinois last week and plus they have a huge game against USC on deck. One could not blame the Penn State defense if they are still celebrating the win over the Illini plus already looking ahead to a tough battle with the Trojans on deck. The Nittany Lions are 4 touchdown favorites here with good reason and their offense will take advantage of facing a much weaker defense then the Illinois D they faced last week. Also, I am aware of the Bruins injury situation at QB but Bowling Green, a MAC school, put up 375 yards and 27 points on this Penn State defense last month. Like I said, this one is quite similar from a situational standpoint and I expect the Bruins offense to surprise some through the air as well as on the ground in this one. The Bruins have scored at least 13 points in all 4 games this season. Even if they only get that here and the odds makers are right about the spread in this one, that would still put this one in the 42-13 range and that is mid-50s rather than the mid-40s number posted on this one. Remember too that BG actually scored 27 on PSU in a similar situation. That said, I feel we have great value with the low total on this one. 3% OVER 46.5 in Penn State
